Carillon and War Memorial Museum
Description
Loughborough Carillon was the first grand carillon in Britain, and is the town's war memorial. It features 47 bells at the top which were made by Taylor and Co in Loughborough which today is the last working bell foundry in the country.
The Carillon Tower is home to the Museum of Armed Forces memorabilia. Climb to the top for spectacular views of the beautiful Queen's Park with its lakes, floral displays and play areas and see right over the Charnwood Forest. See website for details of bell recitals.
