Taylor's Bellfoundry have been casting bells in Loughborough since 1839, and from its Grade II* listed site since 1859. Taylor Bells can be heard around the world including St Paul's Cathedral in London and a bit closer to home at the top of the Carillon Tower in Loughborough.
It is the last major bellfoundry in the UK and one of the most fascinating places you will ever visit, with opportunities to learn about and see the whole bellfounding process and its history.
In the autumn of 2024, Taylor's Bellfoundry Museum reopened its doors after a two year long renovation. Suitable for all ages, their award-winning museum invites you to explore the fascinating world of bellfounding. Dive into the history of craftmanship through two brand-new interactive galleries that bring the process to life.
