Loughborough Clayrooms is run by ceramic artist Alli Forrester. Since moving to Loughborough she has developed her skills and knowledge, making her well rounded in all areas of pottery.
The Loughborough studio has six shimpo whisper wheels downstairs and upstairs has a glazing room and handbuilding room. Fully equipped with the tools, kilns and materials you could need in each area!
The Clayrooms Loughborough has something for everyone with a range of courses and workshops suitable for all levels. We even offer in studio memberships for those wanting to advance even further into ceramics.
Join us for a workshop where you'll learn the basics of throwing clay on the potter's wheel. In this private session, you can dive into the wonderful world of pottery either an an individual, pair or group. Throughout this hands-on experience, our fabulous tutors will guide you every step of the way, ensuring you gain a solid foundation in the art of throwing or handbuilding.
Our courses run in five weeks slots throughout the year and here you can learn in depth how to sculpt, pinch and decorate on our handbuilding course or throw, fettle and glaze on our throwing course.
